As with many aspects of weddings the tides are changing and this includes wedding registries. Many couples do not wish their guests to purchase house hold items for them. One reason is because they already have a lot of the items a new couple would need for a home or because they wish to decorate on their own.
The newest trend in registries is a honeymoon registry. Many couples do not have the cash flow to go on a honeymoon after the wedding and this a great way for you guests to make your dream get away happen. There are many site that allow you to make a honeymoon registry. Each has different requirements like a % taken of any of the services a guests books for you, or others require you use a travel agent.
Here is a site that compares the top 8 honeymoon registries.

Each ceremony is built upon the relationship between the bride & groom. There are many ways to recognized those who have passed, those who you cherish and those that could not be in attendance. There are also personal touches that can be incorporated to signify the joining of your lives together as one. Here are two popular custom ceremony additions:
Unity Sand Ceremony:
As these two containers of sand are poured into the third container, the individual containers of sand will no longer exist, but will be joined together as one. Just as these grains of sand can never be separated and poured again into the individual containers, so will your marriage be, united as one for all of your days.
Hand Blessing Ceremony: (Holding each others hands facing up)
These are the hands of your best friend, young and strong and vibrant with love, that are holding yours on your wedding day, as he promises to love you and cherish you through the years for a lifetime of happiness.
These are the hands that will work alongside yours, as together you build your future.
These are the hands that will love you passionately, and, with the slightest touch, comfort you like no other.
These are the hands that will countless times wipe the tears from your eyes- tears of sorrow, and tears of joy.
These are the hands that will hold you when fear or grief engulfs your heart.
These are the hands that will give you strength and support when you can’t do it alone.
These are the hands that, when wrinkled and aged, will still be reaching for yours, still giving you the same unspoken tenderness with just a touch.
The place card or escort card, as they are referred too, allows a couple to add one more personal touch to their wedding. Many venues require one per person when you are offering a plated meal where more than one entrée will be served. They usually require you designate on each, in a unique way, what the individual has requested for dinner so servers do not have to ask.
Creating a unique escort card is easy as using materials from your backyard or incorporating a shared interest of the bride & grooms. Many couples choose to incorporate it into their favors to create a dual function, allowing them to cut costs but staying true to themselves. Below are some trendy ideas for your escort cards:

Can this possibly be one of the busiest wedding days in the last decade. If you speak with any vendor in the wedding industry, chances are they are working with a couple for that day!
What is so special about that day? It is even a Friday, which is not the most popular wedding day of a weekend.
Lots of people say it is a lucky day! Lot of brides say it is a day the groom will remember their anniversary!
It is Veterans Day, a Celebration of those who have sacrificed for us so that couples have a country they can get married in.
Whatever your reason we wish you the best on your day! We at the Hilton look forward to Samantha’s big day with us!
Tell us what you think of this day!
It has been a great four years and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as The Special Events Manager for the Hilton Naples. I have decided after 18 years in the event industry it is time to move in a different direction. The Hilton has been a wonderful place to work and the entire staff at the hotel from the General Manager, Clark Hill to my Director of Sales Lisa Vinciquerra, to the wonderful Banquet Staff Tony and Imre. They were my co-workers and my friends ,they have supported me the entire way, SO I THANK YOU!!! Electa Saker, who has been working me this past year will continue to work with all the brides and will continue do an outstanding job. Electa loves weddings and will make your day special with all her heart.
For all of you that have followed and supported me and might know someone who is looking for or thinking about a wedding coordinator to assist with your perfect day you can send them to my website at http://mynoworrieswedding.com/, I look forward to working with the Hilton of course!
